HaZamir Teen Sings for ACC - 6/24/2007
HaZamir Chamber Choir member Jessica Fisch performed for the American Conference of Cantors at their annual conference at the Hudson Valley Resort in New York. Jessica said, "The Chamber Choir's most recent performance was in upstate New York. Together with Zemir Chai (a Washington DC based adult choir) we sang words of wisdom and hope, all in Hebrew, English, and Yiddish, not to mention in four to five part harmony. At the end of our performance we got a standing ovation and I swear you could feel hope and joy reverberating in the room. At the end of the night I had numerous cantors approach me and say how inspiring it was to see such young people making such beautiful music that will carry on the Jewish tradition."
